Stephen Le Couilliard & Associates is a sole practitioner firm of Public Accountants, which was established in July 1981 by Stephen Le Couilliard. In January 2012, Annette Tarrant was appointed as a partner of the firm. Annette had previously been employed by our firm since 2008 as an Auditor and has brought to the firm her wide experience in Auditing both public companies and SMEs.

The practice is supported with a professional team of approachable, well educated, caring professionals, dedicated to provide the highest level of customer service.

Annette completed a Bachelor of Business Accounting in 1977.

She is a Registered Tax Agent and Member of IPA.

After working with a small Accounting Firm gaining experience in taxation and audit, she went in Partnership in 1982.

Annette has continued in Public Practice specialising in Trust & Company Accounting and Taxation together with Audit.

In her spare time, Annette enjoys Tai Chi, reading and walking

Stephen completed a Diploma Business Studies at RMIT in 1974.

After working at Duesbury Johnston & Marks in Audit Business Services and Insolvency and similarly at Fell & Starkey (now Ernst & Young), Stephen commenced Public Practice in 1981.

He has had experience in Auditing of Estate Agents, Solicitors Trust Accounts, assisting small and medium enterprises with Business Advisory etc and Taxation Services.

Stephen is a member of IPA and an ASIC Registered Company Auditor.

Stephen is often at the gym and is a keen supporter of the Diabetes Support Group and interested in community activities for all age groups.

Emira joined Stephen Le Couilliard’s in December 2006, she had seven years of hand on experience and skills and she has been working on Auditing, Business Advisory and Taxation assignments.

She completed her Bachelor of Economics in Sarajevo and lived and worked in Germany for a number of years. In Berlin she has been working as a company accountant assisting with compliance and other regulatory requirements. In 1999 she joined the professional accounting practice specialising in Taxation and has completed her Postgraduate studies in taxation field.

She has been member of IPA for a number of years and after completing her CPA program in 2008 she is an active member of CPA and fully qualified CPA.

In order to assist our clients with SMSF, Emira has completed necessary studies in Financial Planning Sphere and Superannuation Areas.  Since, she has been successfully assisting clients with their SMSF needs.

With 16 years of experience in Public practice, Emira has accumulated knowledge and skills to assist clients with customised and quality services.  Her personal attention to detail and client’s needs are paramount.

Emira is family orientated, loves travelling and shopping.

Bod completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Majoring in Accounting, Public Administration & Management) at the University of South Pacific in 1985.

She joined Stephen Le Couilliard’s Office in 2005 after migrating to Australia in 2001.

An Associate Member of CPA, she is involved in all aspect of the office specializing in Taxation. She also prepares special reports for Government, Statutory Bodies and Not for Profit Organisations.

Bod is an active Committee Member of Community Organisation and enjoys yoga and Meditation when time permits
